Customized apparel is a great way to solidify your business brand or image. It can tie together a team, and make your event staff instantly recognizable.
Shirts & Signs offers the following types of apparel custom decoration:
Screen printing is a process of transferring ink onto a garment via a special stencil that is “baked” into a mesh screen, and a squeegee which forces the ink through the mesh. A screen must be made for each color in the design to be printed.
Shirts and Signs specializes in manual screen printing, where the prints are made by moving the squeegee through the ink by hand. This allows a great degree of control over the final product that is sometimes lost in automatic printing.
Embroidery is the process of using thread to stitch a design directly onto a garment. Embroidery is a durable and professional way to decorate apparel, and is especially suited for certain kinds of garments like collared “polo” shirts, dress shirts, and other professional-grade apparel.
Shirts and Signs offers custom embroidery for garments that require that professional touch.
Direct-to-Garment (DTG) Printing
DTG printing is the process of printing directly onto a garment with a printer similar to an inkjet printer you might have at home or in the office.
This process takes advantage of the computer-controlled machine’s precision by using 4 colors of ink simultaneously to reproduce full-color photo prints directly onto your garments.
Due to the relatively thin nature of the inks used in DTG machines (as compared to traditional screen printing inks), these types of printers are best suited to reproduce full-color prints onto light-colored garments only.
Since this process is slower than other decoration methods, DTG printing is best suited for small quantities.
